happy new year everybody, i wanna thank everyone who went to the christmas football do we raised nearly £400 for the club which is great result but i have to appolagise about the lack of entertainment, it was out of my hands, but it wont happen again i can assure you. We have a valentines do on saturday the 12th of febuary at the football club start at 7.30 £4 on the door and it WILL have good entertainment. Spread the word and I wanna see everyone there.

Well done Norman, Dougie, Richard and John Heslop in raising £80 for the club's coffers! They all bet bet me £20 each that I couldn't run the Windsor Half Marathon in under 1hr 30mins. My time was 1hr 30mins and 42 seconds (136th place out of the 4580 people who run it) so I lost. I'll write out a cheque and give it to Stuart next time I see him.

WATER" basically i was not good enough.

As for playing this season, I'm definitely going to sign up and see how things go. I've been doing a lot of triathlon training lately as I have a few races coming up. This has been taking my time (8-12 hours a week) and physical energy (I'm not 20 anymore!). When I can I'll help/play for the reserves (I doubt I'll have the football fitness for the 1st's) if Phil needs it.
Any updates you (or anyone else for that matter) want made to the site let me know.

As for competitions this year it's not a bad thing the reserves are not in the county cups as last year we were drawn from teams in Division 1. It'd make more sense for us to concentrate on the league and league cup rather than play higher standard teams and get thrashed!

To scotty what is the reason for any cup competition FA cup, European cup when teams play each other no matter what standard. Germany played Faroes Island in world cup qualifier & beat them 13-0. That is the beauty of cup competitions teams playing teams of different standards

The man has got a point there. The FA cup is the best club competiton in the world, played within her countries own borders. The main reason why is that it gives all clubs an opportunity to play the bigger clubs, hence the phrase "giant killers".

It was nice to see this web site but, I was very disappointed when I went to past players and saw that my husband Mark who was one of the original members of the team and played in your old boys match was missing. Please change this.. Thank you I also remember when they came up with the name Harefield Wednesday instead of Harefield Hospital and most of the wives and girlfriends thinking it was a joke...
